  1. RAYVERT2 is RayVerter v.2.00 by Lonny L. Pursell (dated Aug. 8, 1992).
  2. This program will convert GFA Raytrace files into NeoChrome 'NEO', Degas
  3. Elite 'PI1', Prism-Paint 'PNT', or Spectrum 512 'SPU' files.  GFA
  4. Raytrace uses it's own file format which until recently was a complete
  5. mystery.  GFA Raytrace is capable of generating some very stunning
  6. raytraced images, but due to it's file incompatabilities the output was
  7. all but useless in my mind.  You couldn't view the files anywhere else
  8. but in the program, you couldn't print them out, you couldn't do
  9. practically anything with them.  The only way to use your newly created
  10. images was to wait for someone to come along and write a conversion
  11. utility.   Lonny L. Pursell has done it!  ST low only.  Docs included.

  14.     ... SAL2SCL.  This is the GFA Raytrace Animation Converter v.1.00 by
  15.     Lonny L.  Pursell and ENCOM (dated Aug. 8, 1992). This program will
  16.     convert GFA Raytrace animations into individual picture files.  Each
  17.     frame can then be processed through RayVerter and converter to
  18.     Spectrum 512 format to create a Spectrum animation.  This program
  19.     isn't very useful unless you already have RayVerter. Color or MONO
  20.     (though you can't view the pictures in mono). Docs included.
